<p>Meet at the Frith Rd substation at 6pm for a 6.15pm departure for a Black Mountain walk. Black Mountain is 812m ASL and 256m above Lake Burley Griffin. Rating is easy/medium but hiking boots or joggers with rugged soles are recommended for the loose surfaces in places. Bring water and a torch in case dusk falls before we finish the walk.</p> <p>We'll go for a meal and a glass of wine (or beer) either at a nearby BYO restaurant or a club afterwards.
