Dinner dances on Saturday nights throughout the year are informal affairs usually held at one of the clubs around Canberra that provide "Cheap eats" and a live band.

Dinner dances of recent years have been held at the Queanbeyan Memorial Bowling Club in Yass Rd.
This club offers one of the best dance floors in the Canberra area and usually has the best local dance bands playing (all styles of dancing are usually catered for).
The club also has a reasonably priced Chinese restaurant from which to get a good value meal from before dancing the night away.
