Monday evening walk: Changed location - Mt Ainslie "North Face"

The Monday 15 July walk will now be up Mount Ainslie due to the temporary night time closure of Mt Majura. The walk will start up the main track and quickly veer off to the wide dirt road (Western side) before we ascend on a small goat track to the top of Mt A. Descent will be via the main track. Head torches and good walking shoes will definitely be needed. Most of the goat track (about 1.5km) is rocky, uneven and very steep so reasonable hill climbing fitness is needed. Warm clothes are also recommended. Walk leader is Rachel. Contact if needed is 0409 616 014. Meet War Memorial car park at 6pm for a 6.15pm start. Distance is about 5km return.
