Omnia usually has two Xmas celebrations each every year. One in December to celebrate the festive season and a "Christmas in July" get-together.
 

The December Xmas party and end of year celebration is a  Saturday night in early December. Venues have included  the Mawson club and the Canberra Yacht Club. The costs of tickets is kept very reasonable for  a 2 course or 3 course meal  and a drink of choice with a live band or DJ providing music for dancing. Members are encouraged to invite friends with ticket costs only a little more than the member price.

Xmas in July is usually hosted in a member's home with everyone bringing food and drinks to share. It's a fun way to brighten up the cold Canberra winter!
